Concealed from the road our expansive property is surrounded by four acres of tended gardens frequented by native bird life such as tuis, bellbirds and kereru.
This package includes a guided tour of our gardens by your hosts Mike and Anne.
Their passion for gardening has seen a transformation of the basic structure to another level, highlights include several ponds surrounded by trees, a native area and formal gardens with an accent on box hedges and espaliered lime trees.

- “Maple Glen” one of Maggie Barry favourites.A 65 acre , private woodland garden and nursery ,that is a delight in any season.
- “Marshwood Gardens” A private garden and nursery on the outskirts of the city, which has amazing English borders, specialising in breeding Salvias.
- “Queen’s Park” The jewel in the centre of Invercargill.Recognised as one of the most important public gardens in New Zealand. You can enjoy strolling through the winter garden, wander through the native area and be sure to check out the recently opened Chinese Seqian Friendship Garden. Enjoy a coffee and muffin at “The Cheeky Lama” kiosk.
